Prof. Dr. Serkan Güneş graduated from Middle East Technical University Department of Industrial Design in 1999, and received his Master’s degree in the same department in 2002. And in 2007, he received his Ph.D. at the Middle East Technical University Department of City and Regional Planning. In 2008, he established the Department of Industrial Design at Gazi University and became the head of this department. Until 2013, he worked as the Director of Gazi University Design Application and Research Center, which he established. His articles and papers have been published in many national and international journals. He has provided product design, consultancy and cooperation services to many leading companies and institutions in the sector such as Roketsan, Teknomar, TOFAŞ, Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters’ Association (İMMİB), Turkish Aerospace. He has received awards in many competitions held at Turkey and abroad. Since 2013, he has been working as the Director of Design Application and Research Center at Gazi University and as the Head of the Department of Industrial Design at Gazi University.
